The Ketchup Chronicles VOL 1

Hello darkness my old friend

[00:00:00] 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 You'll never have the Sacred Stone! Hehehehe Oh this new crazy mother- STT Media VOL 1, Skip the Tutorial, STT Media Why don't we skip the tutorial, the number one video game podcast in your memory? Or in your mother's memory. Da da da da Da da da da

[00:02:01] Da da da da da da da da Got a lot of metal music in my head Todd. Among other things man, hello. Mmhmm My good friend. Hello sir. How are you? Surprise surprise. How did this come to be? That's what they ask. That's what they ask.

[00:02:23] I get the question all the time. Yeah. Well I'll tell you what, in 1985 at some point my mother and father conceived a child. We're starting at the beginning right? Like all the way at the begin- In the beginning, there was darkness. Let me get my bible out.

[00:02:43] I got King James, New King James, New Standard, New Standard, Expanded Standard. Which interpretation are we going for? The Holy Quran version. Fair enough, fair enough. Oh man. I'm drinking some uh... Oh this is weird man, this is- Okay, this is the Beast Unleashed. Is what it's called.

[00:03:08] It's a monster alcoholic beverage? It says on the back that they took out the energy blend, the caffeine and the sugar. And that they brewed the smoothest tasting alcohol ever. I'm gonna be real bro, it just tastes like a monster.

[00:03:34] It sounds like a bastard child of a four loco. Speaking of four loco, I saw four loco at the Kroger and I saw freaking Steel Reserve.

[00:03:48] Man, I saw a video of NBA Youngboy, you know I'm old, he was drinking a four loco and doing some strange dance that I couldn't really connect with. But it explained a lot, it explained why he feels like he got demon inside him. Yeah.

[00:04:01] Because he's drinking four loco, that's literally demon in a can. That's exactly what it is. That's exactly what it is. A little gin dancing in a can, just swallow him and next thing you know you're rocking with your opps.

[00:04:15] I mean bro, four loco was like the blackout college years. You blacking out if four loco gets in your hand. You blacking out, you're not gonna remember. Somebody did that in like MB 2020. Oh yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, Mad Dog 2020. Right, right.

[00:04:38] It's just like hey, where's Timmy and the tennis team? He's behind some fucking garbage can, humping on some unsuspecting poor young lady. That's what that produces. Well he thinks it's a young lady and then he wakes up the next day. Yeah.

[00:04:57] Okay, so I mean I know what the law says. But morality in your mind, are you responsible for your actions after Mad Dog, Steel Reserve or Four Loco? I mean that's like angels us.

[00:05:14] Absolutely, that's literally probably like 87% of people that's in prison right now is probably because of four loco. Fair. Four Loco, we put 87% of the population in prison. Or we're responsible for 87% of the prison population.

[00:05:33] Alright, so is this conversation the reason why we haven't recorded in almost a year? Or is it the fact that we needed to have this conversation the reason why we haven't recorded in over a year? I think it's the latter. Right.

[00:05:48] I think it's the latter that we needed to have this conversation because I miss... I don't have anybody else in my life to talk about Four Loco with. Nobody understands the depth or the ramifications of Four Loco in your life. True Four Loco.

[00:06:07] I don't know man, it does sound like you're sipping on the demon's little cousin right there though. How does it taste? Is it good at least? I mean, I don't like... Okay, so I drink Monsters every now and then. I've really cut back a lot on Monsters.

[00:06:21] Like I'll have them probably once a week, maybe once every couple weeks. I don't really have them that often. In fact, I've cut out a lot of caffeine, a lot of sodas, everything. Like I mostly just drink unsweet tea that I make at home.

[00:06:37] But when I get a Monster, I like the white Monster. Not because I'm racist, but because the white Monster tastes better. See, this is the introductory podcast. You don't need to have the Brian's racist conversation right now.

[00:06:52] Remember I told you my cousin, he's now a cousin of my homeboy. Like I talked to him when we took a break. And he was just like, he used FaceTime and this shit.

[00:07:02] And we was talking about podcasts and he was talking about Dreams because they're doing something on YouTube. He was just like, yeah man, how's your little podcast going? What are you trying to explain to white people while black people like anime?

[00:07:18] I don't know if I can survive to that. Like, I mean, that's not, I thought it was something semi noble. It's my homeboy and people, you know, trying to find simple things that we can come together on. And you know, man often have conversations about 4Loko or whatever.

[00:07:33] But it was kind of funny because it is kind of, you know, I do kind of try to explain why. Why people like anime sometimes. Sometimes. Sometimes. Yeah, man. But sorry, I didn't mean to step in. Oh no. No, it's okay.

[00:07:50] But I like the white can of Monster most of the time. Like I really do. I mean, I do. I'm not gonna lie. But I don't like the green. I drink the white can too though. That's the thing. You know that. Like you've seen me drink.

[00:08:04] I've seen you drink the white can. Like the green can to me tastes too much. Like it's too much. It tastes like syrup almost. I am in an interracial relationship though. So I'm kind of barred from this conversation in a sense too.

[00:08:15] Which total sidebar reminds me of something. Because I think about the first episode we put up on YouTube. The episode 69. Yes. This is America, I think. His name is Dr. Cornel West. Yes. And then like I heard he was running for president. Hell yeah.

[00:08:32] And like he's like one of the most blackety black people ever, right? I mean yeah. That's true. It's Dr. Cornel West. But I didn't realize that he's been married five times. Did you know that? I had no idea. All white women. All white women. Because he's smart.

[00:08:48] He's smart bro. That's what I said when I heard it. He's smart. And then I realized maybe I'm racist. I think most of us are too. Depending on the situation. Have a little bit of racism in us. You gotta cut this out man.

[00:09:02] Gay, lesbian, black people are gonna come after me. I don't. I'll be honest though. I really don't think I do because. Okay look.

[00:09:11] I know a lot of people say that but I really don't think I do because I legitimately am so wrapped up in my own head all the time. And so neurotic that I don't pay attention to other people most of the time. That's real man. Look.

[00:09:27] I just don't. I'm just. I'm so wrapped up in my own little world where I'm like. I'm sitting there and like I'll look at a bump on my finger and be like do I got finger cancer?

[00:09:37] And I'll focus and I'll hyper fixate on that finger for the next two hours. And I'll forget that the world exists. Should we cut this part out? Eight months go by and we don't record a show. I know! That's what happens. It's all good. Yeah it's all good.

[00:09:56] It's all good. That's the reason why we're back here. Because we realize you step away from things. You get too close to stuff. You take some time to yourself and then you reflect hey man what really matters in life? What matters in life is this.

[00:10:11] What would you reference? Conan. What would he say? What would Conan say? Speaking of that, Conan's my Diablo 4 barbarian and I love him. He's fantastic. I feel like he would drink the white can of Monster too. I really do. Bro! I rewatched Conan the other day.

[00:10:32] James Earl Jones in that movie. What happened to James Earl Jones? He just disappeared one day. Yeah, he's 90. You know what I'm trying to get? I know. The last thing I saw of him was All Jokes Aside was coming to America 2. With Wesley Snipes and Murphy.

[00:10:53] He was in that recently. That's right. A couple of years ago. He's still around doing his thing but he's 90 some odd years old. You remember him as the coach in Best of the Best? Yeah man, I remember him playing Jack Johnson back in the day. Being controversial before.

[00:11:11] Conan, Vader, finding out he was the voice and everything. But to wrap it all the way back before I forget not to cut it off. A big driver, something that came up in conversation to have us start to have our weird conversations again.

[00:11:26] About existential dread and gaming and all things, you know, moving forward that are cool and non-cool. Gotta give a shout out to the tribe in general at the end. We'll probably shout out just the specific wolves. Just recently, Ethan.

[00:11:45] He was on a secret super secret Facebook group for old people. And we got to do it for this still alive or whatever. But the Facebook group he said is the podcast dead. Love the tribe, just wondering. And though me and Brian may be a little dead inside.

[00:12:01] Apparently there's still a little life in the podcast. He joined the tribe back in 2019 man. And we just wanted to give a specific shout out to you and all those that have been sticking with us and fucking with us man. I mean, that's true. I don't know.

[00:12:20] Okay, so since like February I've been going through some multiple things. Multiple. I mean it's hard to qualify and shit like that. But basically it's just been one thing after another. And like to know that the tribe was there checking on us, making sure we're okay.

[00:12:34] I get messages from Aaron. I get messages from Dewey. I'd see the discord. I saw the Ethan post on Facebook. Keeping it alive, keeping it breathing. That made me feel some kind of warm in my heart. And it's hard to melt the heart of the Grinch.

[00:12:49] Especially the older I get and the grumpier, more like Clint Eastwood a la Gran Torino I become. Like, I mean that's real. That made me feel really good. I don't know, my heart's, like I've started to start to feel things again.

[00:13:06] And I think I had to shut my brain off for a little bit. Because, I'll be up front about what was going on for me. Like, okay, so in February I get these weird symptoms that are hard to describe. They're still kind of there, they come and go.

[00:13:22] It depends. It turns out it all has to do with my tooth. And like I've got to get that tooth pulled because they were, they, I don't know if I told you that Todd. But they did a, you know they did that root canal on there.

[00:13:33] But that didn't take care of all the problem. So now they got to go in and pull it. And I'm your friend and I know it was even deeper than that. Yeah, so basically I go to the doctor.

[00:13:43] I go to the minor care because I hate going to the doctor. And the minor care is like, hey you got a thing on your thyroid you need to get it checked out. And he tells me, not knowing I'm neurotic.

[00:13:53] Not knowing that I completely lose my mind at every little health thing. He's like, it could be thyroid cancer. Because of the other shit. Yeah. I'm with you, right, right. He says it could be thyroid cancer. So I freak out. I freak out. Of course I do.

[00:14:11] So then I make a doctor appointment with the primary care. He doesn't feel anything but he says, hey we'll get it ultrasounded anyway. Ultrasound it. Well they find nodes of my thyroid on the right side not the left side. And then they do blood work.

[00:14:24] They send me to get a nuclear scan. They send me to an epidemiologist. I go to an ENT. I go through all this. All this money spent. And then they look at me and say, yeah it's probably fine. Come back next February and we'll scan it again.

[00:14:41] It's like, y'all took thousands of my dollars. Thousands of my dollars. To tell me nothing's wrong with you. Get it checked out again. You probably had them for a long time. And so this is America me. Yes. On top of everything else that's been going on.

[00:14:58] I mean, I don't know man. I think it's... We really thugged it out. You. Like the vid and the apocalypse now and a whole bunch of other shit. And that was really a lot to do with the tribe. It wasn't just you.

[00:15:14] I had my own transitional stuff going on too. So it's just one of those things where even though we were like, we're not gonna pod fade. You know what I mean? It's kind of when you say it aloud, you kind of put it in the universe. You do.

[00:15:27] We needed to step back a little bit. But ultimately I think it'll be a great thing. I mean, you know, we did our 18 minutes a day for a whole bunch of years. Yeah. I think it was a healthy step back.

[00:15:39] And a major reason why I think it was a healthy step back is to really... It was like a thesis in this theory that we had like weird jokers. Where it's like, well, it would be cool to kind of build a community of strong people.

[00:15:52] And you know, where it could be kind of... It can run on its own a little bit. It could be something that just has a spirit of its own. It's the idea over just the people.

[00:16:01] And to see that actually kind of come to fruition is probably one of the cooler things to happen in life. You know what I'm saying? For me, like... For me too. Just grateful for you and, you know, the people that still fuck with it.

[00:16:14] And be like, hey man, it's just cool to still see that everybody is still solid. You know? And still together. So this is kind of like an easy thing to do for that reason alone. Plus, I mean, gaming wise, it's not just about gaming.

[00:16:29] Like, I did want to tell you something too. Like, I know we're supposed to be doing this again because I finally watched... I finished Puss in Boots today. Man! That shit was good. Right? That shit was good. That's a good movie. Like, the animation in that movie, like...

[00:16:42] That's solid. Solid movie. The action in it too. I was like, I want to watch it again. I'm like, this was a really good movie. I'm telling you though, Mamona. Just check it out. I'll check it. And we'll come back. Just talk to me about it.

[00:16:56] You know what I mean? That is like surprisingly the one I frowned up at. My old lady was like, check this out. I was like, I'm not watching this shit for several fucking reasons. Right? You know what I mean?

[00:17:08] But by the end of it, I was feeling kind of that little kid. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Yeah. Just... That's a good feeling, dude. To get back is like... To be in touch with the child inside. Right. But it was some weird old shit though.

[00:17:23] Like, it could have been some old, you know, go woke, shit broke or whatever the fuck type Whatever that phrase is. Yeah, whatever the fuck it is. I don't remember. But... Speaking of that... Sorry. I had to get your opinion. We had Kroger today!

[00:17:40] Bro, you know what they got on the shelf at Kroger now? Cracker Jules. No joke! I don't even know what that is. I blocked that. I don't know what that is, bro. Instead of Cracker Jacks. Instead of Cracker Jacks. They're called Cracker Jules. Oh, wow.

[00:18:02] Oh, I thought you were referencing some weird cracker shit. No! Like, don't say that phrase. No, no. Cracker Jules. Instead of Cracker Jacks. And they got a Cracker Jule with a woman on the front.

[00:18:14] But my wife looked at it and she's like, it was a black woman on the front. She goes, are they calling a black woman a cracker? It's a black woman named Cracker Jule in a Kroger? Yes! Yes! Let's change the subject, man.

[00:18:26] So, Street Fighter 6 has been really, really, really helping me with my gaming transition right now. We got a part. That's a whole episode. I don't want to talk about Cracker Jules. Black Cracker Jule in a Kroger.

[00:18:41] If somebody wants to hear about that and made it to this point in the podcast, they can bring it up and we can dedicate some more time at a later date. This is like a surprise catch-up episode. That's the title of this episode.

[00:18:52] Black Cracker Jule in a Kroger. That's fair. That is fair. Pop-up episode. Speaking of Cracker Jules, though, I do want to tell you one of my favorite things about my anime character in Street Fighter 6 now is I have gloves reminiscent of OJ. Beautiful.

[00:19:16] They do look like OJ gloves. It's some weird kind of raincoat that I got and some other pants. You know these games. It's like they give you some random ass gear that just doesn't kind of match. But I'm having a lot of fun with it.

[00:19:27] And part of the reason why I'm having fun is because you can literally walk down the street. I'm sure it's a character named Cracker Jule. Challenge any random person and beat the shit out of him.

[00:19:38] And it's like the perfect thing to play after I've had a stressful day at work or dealing with like physical humans to like just literally be the most horrible Street Fighter. You know me when we first started the fucking show.

[00:19:52] This is why it's kind of another reason why it's funny how the universe works. When we first started the show Bill was alive. You know we were at the old building working together like fucking workaholics characters. I got to switch to fucking work.

[00:20:04] My sister had just got me like a classic Street Fighter bundle and that collection. Yeah the collection right. So you know how I fuck with Street Fighter for real Street Fighter 6 is like reminiscent.

[00:20:18] I promise you of that 1992 classic feeling in current current gaming and that's what kind of tied it together. It's not just the game is the nostalgia at this point of those kind of memories and being able to kind of fast forward that when new technology.

[00:20:35] So it's been it's been really fun for real. I am complete trash though. I had a shot at being good in the beginning and then I just started playing arcade mode because I was upset a lot of people couldn't log in and I couldn't log in at first.

[00:20:50] And now I'm just complete trash but I still love the game.

[00:20:54] But yeah it made me think about Bill and you and us starting the show so this is great to kind of have like a pop up episode based around the time that the new Street Fighter that actually comes out.

[00:21:05] Man that's a beautiful thought to like it's part of the I thought about this too is that I think part of the show kind of when we were working so hard on it.

[00:21:18] We did a lot of great episodes but man after Bill passed away you had some you had you know a couple friends pass away and it was just man life life is hard.

[00:21:34] And I think that we bring a lot of comedy and a lot of goodness to it.

[00:21:38] But I don't think that we I think the one thing about this show and why we have this community and why I love our community so much is we don't try to hide from the pain. It's real. It's there. Comedy is not there.

[00:21:53] Our jokes aren't there to make you forget the pain. We're here to commiserate with you in the pain.

[00:21:56] And I still wish I still wish that on the Bill episode I would have been more cognizant to actually call it Kill Bill because he would have laughed his ass off about that. Yeah man. He would have laughed his ass off about that joke.

[00:22:13] You know what though but it was raw at the time. It was. It was probably one of the healthiest things we could have did.

[00:22:20] You know take the break like I think you know it was uncomfortable and maybe we wanted to fight against it just based off a habit.

[00:22:29] You know it's one of those things where sometimes you got to kind of step back and see what you what you really got to really appreciate it and give it time to kind of grow into something else and continue to move forward.

[00:22:41] Basically showing all the tribe is like strong as hell for real. Yeah. The poor real ones. They're still there man. They're all still there and like Dewey and Raleigho and Aaron. Bossman just yeah Aaron. Bossman.

[00:23:02] He just posted a like a article that I really was grateful for about it was talking about the classic games kind of they trying to resurrect those because you know it's a big deal like they supposed to be going back.

[00:23:14] They're going out of style like old classic movies at a similar rate. I'm not reading the article right now but you know like the rate of like classic films was something ridiculous and I know you always want a classic game inside of it.

[00:23:27] So I mean it's shit like that and just the jokes like Brian and you know he stoner. Oh yeah. Keystone to crack me up bro. You know just the whole tribe like talking about all that but we've been a good community for one another.

[00:23:42] Like I promise you there's just like Orlando. I still have not met you but Orlando alone in the group sometimes just holds it down and it's funny. Ryan had me laughing the other day with the peaches mean with the I think I found the wrong the wrong video.

[00:24:03] He just broke. That was so funny. Yeah. You know speaking of movies I'm in like we watch that Super Mario Brothers movie. I liked it. It was fun. It's a fun movie like I mean I was like down for it.

[00:24:20] I was like this is enjoyable good wholesome like family entertainment like I could be down with it like there's nothing wrong with that bro man and I was stoned in the box live. Yeah. I found IMAX and that kind of added to the experience a little bit.

[00:24:38] It wasn't the greatest movie ever but it was a good family. I mean it made a billion dollars like people get mad about shit like that. Like I had way more fun than I thought. I also saw Avatar the same kind of way.

[00:24:50] I don't know if I like the second one as much as the first one but that just for movie experience it was worth it. I feel disappointed though after watching Puss in Boots and this pneumonia shit surprisingly.

[00:24:59] I know we had recorded like even like side stuff like Dungeons and Dragons. I had a lot of fun with D&D is my favorite movie of the year so far like it still is my favorite movie of the year.

[00:25:09] Like I've watched that movie five six times now like I just I love that movie like that's that old school 80s kid in me though where it's like it is like it's it's it's visual effects done in front of the camera. It's a fun adventure story.

[00:25:24] It's not taking it too serious and I'll tell you this it was a hell of a lot better than Indiana Jones. I still didn't see that.

[00:25:32] It was like okay if y'all want to go check out reviews I got a little Instagram page where I'm doing movie reviews called blood and popcorn and I'll do movie reviews every now and then for whatever I watch blood and popcorn.

[00:25:45] But I put an Indiana Jones movie up there and I watched it and I gave it like three and a half stars and what I said was like the beginning and the end were too long. It was too much.

[00:25:56] The middle part has got some of the most fun Indiana Jones action since the first one right like so for me Raiders of the Lost Ark is the perfect Indiana Jones movie and this had as much fun in the middle but the beginning and the end were like so long it added an extra like probably 45 minutes to the movie that didn't need to be there.

[00:26:18] It's a two and a half hour movie. Like it's a long movie bro. I was hearing a thing was the critical drinker.

[00:26:25] He was just talking about how it we are we in an era where you know America just doesn't have a sense of his direction just based on the films that we're watching how they just rerun things. I agree.

[00:26:37] You know 200 million dollar budgets and how you can't just have like a 30 million dollar 40 million dollar film that you know test the limits and has good writing good characters in it.

[00:26:48] Now you just hope to fucking make an Indiana Jones movie and try to have some kind of spin off of it to make more movies and more money. So did you feel that in the Indiana Jones? Yeah, because I can't even wait. I can't even watch it.

[00:27:02] I felt that in the Indy thing. It felt like an idea to give like Phoebe the girl from that movie or from that TV show on Amazon Prime Fleabag.

[00:27:12] Like she's in it and she's like his I won't go into it but she's not related to Indy but she knows Indy since she was a kid and whatever. Like it felt like a spin off to give her her own series of movies and stuff.

[00:27:25] And it's just like for me where movies have gotten to because movies used to be and I hate to sound old man Clint Eastwood but I'm going to go there for a minute. Movies used to be a time capsule of an era.

[00:27:42] It used to be an era a point of where you could reference to see what was going on in the culture and kind of like this idea of like culture change pop culture changes culture.

[00:27:52] Like that's a real thing because a lot of movies have influence on that too. If you look at a lot of 70s films like the gritty and hardcore and mean and angry because we had a gas crisis a depression we were in Vietnam War.

[00:28:05] Like people are pissed off so they're making pissed off movies. And then George Lucas comes along in 77 and says hey y'all want to go on a ride? Star Wars comes out everything changes from that point.

[00:28:16] And then the 80s is all about you remember the 80s man the fun adventure big budgets big effects. Big action. Armada, Rocky, America we are going to beat your mother****** ass. Yeah. Russians were always the enemy. Russians were always the enemy. Just like now.

[00:28:40] Well some people agree with Russians. I'm not getting into that. That's politics. Or it might be Russians agreeing with Russians for all I know like that's the thing man America. I like 80s.

[00:28:53] See that's the point 80s America Dungeons and Dragons is a reason why I think you connect with that movie is your favorite movie this year because it clears out all that bull****. It's no confusion on that anymore.

[00:29:02] Like there was an 80s time early 90s you know they made another comparison like maybe we could talk about it a little bit more because I do want your perspective on it. It didn't always matter that it was a trans character or it was a female lead.

[00:29:18] Like that was the cool thing you didn't have to talk about it. Like you had your trinities in the 90s you know you had your whoever. Ripley from Alien. And that's a specific example that's what I'm saying. So like now Tank Girl. Why is it a thing?

[00:29:35] You remember Tank Girl from the 90s? Tank Girl was f******. Sleep great that's a sleeper. The mother****** sleep on it they don't know. Yeah Blank Man. Blank Man. Like it didn't matter. Meteor Man bro. Meteor Man for the yeah for Bill Cosby.

[00:29:55] I forgot Bill Cosby's in that movie I gotta be careful. I forgot yeah. Yeah. Yeah I forgot he's in that movie. In a f****** you know basement apartment.

[00:30:06] But it was it was you're right though like it wasn't it wasn't blasted like it wasn't talked about it was just there. It was just there bro there's a movie from the 70s I was watching the other day.

[00:30:17] That's like it's a 70s horror movie that takes place on a cruise ship and the cruise ship is a drag queen ship. And this was 1974. This is 1974. This is a great movie. This is a fantastic movie. How much cocaine can Sonic do is my point.

[00:30:33] So like nothing you know whatever side that we under or whatever sometimes we just you know that's why it's like this pop-up episode for the tribe. It really is it's so much for like our family with them and ourselves you know what I'm saying.

[00:30:46] But yeah it's kind of it's good I think that's what our show kind of represents too.

[00:30:50] We can talk it out and whatever but by the time we get to the end we always end up on like a fart joke or like an 80s horror movie which kind of centers. Speaking as we in the night off on a four loco.

[00:31:02] Speaking of 80s horror movies I watched a damn good 80s horror movie you got to check out. I really did. It's called road games. It's got Stacy Keach you remember Stacy Keach's old ass from you remember American History X he played the old white dude. Yeah.

[00:31:19] Stacy Keach was that dude and it's got Jamie Lee Curtis and Stacy Keach plays a trucker traveling through the Australian outback who comes across a serial killer who's killing and chopping up women. Well it's a perfect movie like it's so good and it's PG it's PG.

[00:31:38] Ever since you suggested terrified to me. I don't doubt you too much. You know I know it's fun. Did you watch Megan. Yeah dude. Yeah you told me about Megan. It's fun. Like we got so much catching up to do bro.

[00:31:55] Yeah we got so much catching up to do. Megan's a fun movie like it's so silly. It's so silly. She did. I had a whole moment.

[00:32:05] Yeah bro that whole moment I cracked up man like and I told you about one earlier today too and I'm gonna recommend this to everybody the movies called sick and it's it's so much fun. It's an 81 minute horror movie sick. Go watch it. I gotta make the confession.

[00:32:19] No I don't think I've said it man I still haven't seen Spider-Man. I haven't either. I haven't either.

[00:32:25] I justified it in my mind like I want to go see Super Mario but I mean shit just got tight and I just couldn't I got shit going on I gotta move soon blah blah blah blah.

[00:32:32] But I'm like damn man I'm hoping it comes out a good copy on bootleg. I almost I got played I thought it was like a good copy. It's on there right now. On Plex. It's a good copy.

[00:32:44] Of the actual because I started watching it and it was like I felt played because it was the first movie. Oh I'll have to check. I'll have to check again. I thought I checked it.

[00:32:56] I got a lot to do though about that Final Fantasy 16 Deluxe Edition I still got to pop open. I still got Diablo 4. I got movies to watch. I got a bunch going on right now that I'm just like I'm happy to be alive.

[00:33:10] Even though it's like the devil's butthole outside. That's literally what I said yesterday I went to Target quote unquote. It's so hot. It is so hot. I mean it is ridiculous outside. It's like 101 right? 102? Something like that.

[00:33:30] I got in a car it's like a puff of heat wave just hitting my fucking face. I turn my shit on it's like 107 in there. Like what the fuck is going on the sun is still up at 930. It's a special kind of heat out here. It is.

[00:33:45] It's like 102 degrees outside with thunderstorms. Right? Yeah it's definitely Beelzebub's ass crack going on but I guess thankful for air conditioning. Central Air is the lifesaver man especially because we were in Honduras.

[00:34:00] Just like back in June for a week and they don't have Central Air ain't a thing. They got like split air conditioners.

[00:34:10] It reminds me of growing up as a child in Texas where every room had a you know it wasn't you didn't have Central Air every room had a window unit. You know what I mean?

[00:34:21] So like we didn't get a chance to talk about we talked about Rain of Fire recently too. Yeah bro! I love that movie. Ever. But the chonky dragon from D&D. That fat dragon that was pretty.

[00:34:36] Right and see this is the thing I don't want to overdo this catch up I want to get an idea from the tribe. Yes. Any ideas you know like if they feel like we just need to actually fucking podcast and die or they actually are happy to hear.

[00:34:48] Yeah. You know us back trying to connect with them but I got to hear a little bit about the Honduras trip. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. The good the bad the ugly where the prostitutes out there how was it? All good all good beautiful beautiful.

[00:35:03] I rode jet skis I went fishing I caught a barracuda that was dope I spent a lot of time in the ocean we had a bunch of great food like they got great food out there.

[00:35:13] Rotan was where we went my it's so beautiful out there like bro I want to go back like I didn't even know.

[00:35:19] Like when we came back I was like I don't want to do a beach vacation again I'd like to go to like Colorado or like the Northeast or whatever but now I'm just like now I kind of want to do a beach vacation again.

[00:35:31] Something about floating in the ocean is just wonderful like I don't know I love Honduras man. I love Honduras. Like I know you said it was hot but was it like Texas hot or was it like Beaumont hot? It's different it's like Beaumont. Tropical humidity.

[00:35:46] Yeah it was like 80% humidity all the time and like but getting in the ocean having the ocean right there is different. Did you feel like Christopher walking in an anaconda? Yes I love an anaconda.

[00:36:01] But no what I was going to say is just like that place is a really cool joint like it's a cool spot to go to like it's just wonderful and the best thing like I'm not going to say it's the best thing about the trip but it was kind of awesome.

[00:36:16] Was we had bought tickets like a year ago to go to fly and we got tickets for a really good price.

[00:36:25] We got business class because me and my wife like leg room and business class normally be really expensive because we bought them a year in advance it was relatively cheap. It really was worth you know it wasn't very much more than regular coach.

[00:36:38] Well we had a direct flight but they canceled the direct flight made it a connecting flight so they bumped us up to first class and bro that was an experience.

[00:36:50] It's like I ain't never flown first class nowhere it's just like I got my own seat it lays fully back I got an 18 inch monitor I'm watching interstellar like bro like I got a full dinner like I ain't got peanuts.

[00:37:08] I got a full chicken dinner like bro that was something else. Yeah but what okay that was yeah that was nice.

[00:37:19] We got a lot of ketchup on man see you just I prescribe you one viewing of American Psycho at least once a month for the next year and I think it'll help balance you out. I think you're right bro like that's a good prescription.

[00:37:34] I did the doctors had me on like Lexapro for a month to reduce my stress and I got nothing wrong with Lexapro but I had to come off of it because I was like I don't feel anything about anything.

[00:37:50] Hey I was like nah I'm good like I'd rather. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing.

[00:37:57] Nothing from nothing and then I will tell you it always sticks with me the movie y'all remember that movie with Tom Cruise where he gets his face all jacked up in the car accident and he's living like the end the twist ending is like oh.

[00:38:16] Beautiful sky some **** **** it was some weird Scientology **** but like it was right when he was hopping on Oprah's couch ****.

[00:38:28] Yeah like it was around that time and then he wakes up and they're like oh you've actually been in a coma this whole time because we wanted to wake you up when we could fix your face.

[00:38:38] But anyway he says something in that movie he goes in order to really capture life you have to take the sweet with the sour.

[00:38:46] It's the only way it works and I was like that's why I don't I don't have any problem with the psychiatric stuff or the drugs that people but for me to not feel anything is worse than feeling both like I'd rather take the sweet with the sour.

[00:39:01] Like nothing from nothing is still nothing like that's. Yeah man that didn't make sense don't don't you actually said something that made sense right then and I didn't but. No what you said made sense to me. It did. Oh my boy. Yeah it made sense to me.

[00:39:17] This is kind of hard to write here man just communicating with the folks you know what I'm saying and **** around next time we get on here probably we'll be micro dosing some shrooms maybe that'll help.

[00:39:28] Nah man what else you got this this this go around man for the pop up for the people's. Diablo 4 is fantastic if you haven't played it it's amazing Phasmophobia has got a lot of updates me and Bob got on last night we'll probably get on tonight.

[00:39:42] Shout out Bob. Shout out Bob bro. We'll get on tonight too we're gonna play Phasmophobia tonight bro. I went to get my inspection today I have my booty chain on my thing and the look that the lady gave me was just it was so disrespectful.

[00:39:57] It was my old ladies idea man. Little does she know. Okay so Diablo 4 Phasmophobia with the homie.

[00:40:05] And I got Final Fantasy 16 ready to go I can't wait to play it I want to hear y'all's opinion about Final Fantasy 16 and I want to hear your guys opinion about the show what you're comfortable with stuff like that because really to be honest like part of me wants to bring it back in a way but I want to make it healthy for everybody me you and you know.

[00:40:29] You the crowd the tribe everybody like it's got to be healthy because I think the problem last time y'all didn't the tribe never put and I want to say this y'all the tribe never put pressure on us to do the show.

[00:40:42] They never did they were grateful always and for that I love you that is a hundred percent real. I put a lot of pressure on me. Todd you never put pressure on me I put pressure on me.

[00:40:59] So in that scenario I want to bring it back in a way that's going to be healthy but I don't want to promise anything.

[00:41:08] It just is what it is so take this little bit that we given you right now because like it's good to talk to you again that's just I'm gonna be real sometimes you got to catch up with an old friend. Hell yeah, man.

[00:41:21] It's perfect time and it work out how it's supposed to work out. I really got too much shit going on.

[00:41:26] Like I said just you know, I'm sure that the people that matter for this one specifically they'll let us know what's up how they feel got a little form punishment everybody if I'm sure I'll miss a couple of names here there, you know what I'm saying?

[00:41:40] But you know, it's all love saying shit again. What do y'all want to hear? Let us know and we'll kind of get to it. I am gonna put one thing on you man.

[00:41:49] I wouldn't mind seeing a Diablo clip like a get a good on point just don't even have to talk on it. I'm genuinely actually interested in Diablo. I'm not going to get a chance to play it. So I wouldn't mind seeing me but no pressure. No pressure.

[00:42:03] No pressure. No pressure now. I'm gonna get on it. But right now what I'm about to do is I'm gonna go cook up some sausages put them in a hot dog bun eat some chips and drink a couple of beers.

[00:42:13] That sound like what you do after you drink a four local and I'm feeling you. I'm gonna do something similar my brother must love you know, I'm saying I'm gonna say vulnerability in both ways and uh, yeah, man. This is fun.

[00:42:26] It's good to catch up always again to man always y'all go check it out. I don't know man. We got plenty of shit to talk about. Yeah, we got so much shit. We so used to talking every week.

[00:42:39] We ain't talk about the flesh like we could we got just we'll catch up when we catch up who we got so much to catch up on but you know, just thank you man.

[00:42:47] I want to let you know personally again on this for all the years that you've been dedicated. The reason why you put a lot of pressure on yourself.

[00:42:53] I didn't directly put pressure on you, but it was a lot of pressure on you for the show to get produced period.

[00:42:58] So we ain't gotta you know, maybe this is a little bonus or whatever just that's why I tell you don't don't ever think that I ever took all the hard work for granted or ever. No, you never did. I never felt that.

[00:43:10] I never felt that you know what I'm saying? I just know like we better together than we are apart. Yeah, I 100% agree. All right. So until next time how do we use this? Oh, yeah, we ain't got to even do that man.

[00:43:24] We ain't even got to do that. We can leave it with what else you want to do. I'm only got to do that. I'm gonna leave it with the one phrase that I know how to leave it with which is stay humble. Leave it with that phrase.

[00:43:35] I'm gonna leave it with there and y'all y'all don't forget to go to Kroger and check out black crackers. You're due.
